Oh Gosh, don’t you just love cookies?
Obviously, you have some cookie love if you’re reading this post 😉
But if you have digestive health issues and suffer from IBS, Crohn’s, Colitis or other digestive disorders, you may worry just how that cookie is going to treat you…
Now, I’m not going to say cookies are good for you and you should eat a bag every day, but I do stand behind my love for cookies and that they bring some sweet goodness into my life.
So I thought it best we have a cookie conversation. In this article, I am going to review a few different cookies that I have consumed and share with you my insights to help you on your journey to finding the right cookie for you. Please remember this is my opinion, so if you disagree, no problemo! We all have different tastes and preferences.

Gluten-Free Cookie Review
Okay let’s start with a good stuffed cookie, oreo-type and then we will roll into chocolate chip and other options!
Taste: 2/5, chocolatey and creamy, but too sugary, powdery and a slight aftertaste
Texture: 3/5, a good crispy crunch
Overall: Glutino I love you, but this cookie is just okay. I won’t buy again.
Taste: 4/5, chocolate, vanilla creme, no aftertaste, this is a great gluten-free Oreo substitute
Texture: 4/5, crunchy and dunkable like it should be
Overall: I LOVE this cookie. It’s hard not to eat 4 at a time. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
Udi’s Maple Pecan Chocolate Chip

Taste: 4/5, a pretty yummy cookie with just enough chocolate chips and who doesn’t love maple flavour? No GF aftertaste with this one.
Texture: 3/5, starts soft, but once the box has been open for a couple days they get hard, not in a bad way, just a little crunchier, but these cookies are pretty crumbly and make a mess like a squirrel has been in your kitchen.
Overall: One of my favourite chocolate chip cookies.
Mary’s Chocolate Chip

Taste: 3/5, not super flavourful, a little bland.
Texture: 3/5, VERY crispy! If you like a serious crunch, this is for you.
Overall: Oh Mary! How I truly love your crackers … but I don’t care much for your cookies. They are a good size (one-bite) but the flavour and crunch don’t do it for me 🙁
Udi’s Soft & Chewy Snicker Doodle

Taste: 4/5, pretty delicious and tastes like real butter (because they use it in the recipe!)
Texture: 4/5, really soft and chewy! (they keep fresh because they are frozen)
Overall: I really like these cookies, but note that they are best kept frozen. A couple minutes warmed up and ohh yes please! I even used these Snicker Doodles to make a lovely pie crust one Thanksgiving!
